What Is Love Chico?

At its heart, Love Chico is about Chico-area churches coming together in a collaborative effort to demonstrate God's love through service to our community. "We love because He first loved us" 1 John 4:19

THE 2011 LOVE CHICO ON LINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 5:00PM SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2011. To register after 5:00pm please click on the info@lovechico.org,located at the bottom center of this page, and e-mail your request to be signed up for a project. Please browse the projects first as many projects have already been filled.

Missed the Registration deadling and want to go volunteer right now? The list below includes projects that have 10 or less volunteers at each location. Go head on over to one of the project locations here: Hooker Oak Elementary, Bidwell Jr High, Loma Vista Elementary, Parkview Elementary, Nord Country School, Annie's Glenn clean-up, Bidwell Five-Mile vegetation clean-up. Ask for the Project Leader, and tell them you are their to help volunteer. Happy Love Chico Day!

Dear Love Chico Volunteers:

A million thank yous for showering God's Blessings down on Chico on Sunday. Everyone shared their gifts so beautifully and our city sparkles today. Your hands and feet and sweat and hard work and your love were incredible! Thank you and blessings.

Love Chico 2011 - Mark You Calendars for Sunday, September 25, 2011 and plan on volunteering for this great event!

After your service project, join us at Children's Park where downtown food vendors will be available from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. - don't forget to bring chairs or a blanket to sit on!. A worship service will be held at Bidwell Presbyterian Church from 1:30pm to 2:30pm for everyone involved in Love Chico 2011.
